Cheshire Medical Center/Cheshire Health Foundation is pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Trustees: Richard Church, of Nelson, and Robert Mucha, CPA, of Keene. Currently, the Cheshire Health Foundation Board is comprised of twenty-two members, including its new chairman, Jim Putnam, who was appointed earlier this year.

John Mandeville of East Hardwick has been appointed Executive Director for the Lamoille Economic Development Corporation based in Morrisville. He replaces Art Sanborn who is retiring effective April 1, 2010. Mandeville moved to Vermont in 2000 having spent the previous 7 years as the Managing Director of the European subsidiary of an American company based in southern England.

The New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE) honored Champlain College President David F. Finney, Vermont State Rep. Martha P. Heath and the Quantum Leap program at Bennington College at its 2010 New England Higher Education Excellence Awards earlier this month.

The Vermont State Colleges (VSC) Board of Trustees has named Joyce M Judy as president of Community College of Vermont (CCV). Currently serving as interim president of CCV, Judy was selected as permanent president following a national search that began last November. Judy's appointment was a unanimous decision of the board and it is effective immediately.

The Vermont Gay Tourism Association (VGTA), the only statewide organization that markets Vermont tthe Gay & Lesbian traveler, has elected a new board of directors and has formed new initiatives.
