Lund has added two new members to its Board of Trustees: Louise Gibbs of South Burlington, VT and Emily Smith of Colchester, VT. As a statewide provider of adoption, clinical treatment, and parent child center services, Lund’s mission is to help children thrive by empowering families to break cycles of poverty, addiction, and abuse.

Lyndon Institute announces the appointment of Elizabeth Greisman as its inaugural visiting Barbara Follet Artist-in-Residence, taking place from April 1 through April 29. Based in Toronto, Greisman brings more than four decades of experience as a visual artist, educator, and curator, with a globally recognized practice that bridges fine art, performance, education and science.

The Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) has promoted Sara Everest to IT Director. In her new role, Sara leads VHFA’s information technology function, guiding technology investments that support day to day operations while driving long term organizational goals.

Governor Phil Scott has appointed Sandi Hoffman as commissioner of the Department for Children and Families (DCF). She has served as interim commissioner since September of 2025. 

The Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) has announced the promotion of Deborah Flannery to Deputy Executive Director, a new leadership role created to support the agency’s rapid growth in housing investments and mission impact statewide. Flannery joined VHFA in January 2025 as Managing Director of Community Development, where she has overseen development finance and asset management.

Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice (CVHHH) extends a warm welcome to Dr. Alyson Emmons-Abbruzzi, DO, the agency’s new Medical Director for Home Health, Hospice, and the Palliative Care Consultative Service. Dr. Emmons-Abbruzzi succeeds Dr. Anthony Williams, who served as CVHHH’s Home Health Medical Director for over a decade.
