Central Vermont Medical Center recently did some minor renovations in the hospital’s main lobby to create a gallery space. Individual local artists have been invited to exhibit their work and each show will run for two months. The first show, featuring CVMC cardiologiust Mark Heitzman, opens on April 1st. The show will be open to the public when the lobby area is open, 6:30 a.m.

A former executive with defense contractor Lockheed Martin has been appointed director of the state program that assists Vermont businesses with obtaining government contracts. The Agency of Commerce and Community Development announced that June Plankey of Colchester is the new Director of the Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC).

The Windham Foundation has appointed Robert Donald as Chief Financial Officer for the organization, it was announced today by president and CEO Dr. John Bramley. This is a new position created in response to the increasing size and complexity of the finances and operations of the Foundation and its subsidiaries. He is scheduled to start with the Foundation at the end of March.

Cheshire Medical Center/Cheshire Health Foundation is pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Trustees: Richard Church, of Nelson, and Robert Mucha, CPA, of Keene.
