The Institute of Professional Practice, Inc, a non-profit human services organization that serves adults and children with developmental disabilities, has announced that three new members have been selected to serve on the organization’s Board of Directors. The new board members are Donna Curtin, Michael Hartman, and Deborah Shenk. They were installed at the annual meeting on March 1, 2016.
Karen Glass – a professor on the Colchester Campus of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences – was recently awarded a $384,000 research grant from the Nat’l Institutes of Health (NIH).
But what’s even more impressive is the fact that she received the highest score possible on her NIH grant application. That achievement puts her in the top 1% of all applicants in the country!
CCV Rutland student Dale Kenyon will travel to NASA’s Langley Research Center in May to participate in the NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars project (NCAS). Kenyon, of Shrewsbury, will be one of 216 community college students from across the U.S. to be part of NCAS.
