Manchester's Annual Sidewalk Sales return August 6–9 with shopping, savings & fun

Vermont Business Magazine Bargain hunters, art and music lovers, fashion enthusiasts, and weekend travelers are invited to experience one of Manchester's favorite summer traditions as the Annual Manchester Sidewalk Sales return Thursday, August 6 through Sunday, August 9.

For four days, Manchester's sidewalks will come alive with incredible deals, special promotions, sidewalk displays, and one-of-a-kind finds from participating retailers, boutiques, galleries, and specialty shops throughout town. From designer fashions and home décor to outdoor gear, kitchen essentials, gifts, and Vermont-made products, shoppers will discover exceptional savings while enjoying the charm of one of New England's premier shopping destinations.

This year's participating businesses include Coco Goose, Depot 62, Eileen Fisher, Family Footwear Center, J.Crew, JK Adams, La Pêche Lingerie, Le Creuset, Local Maverick, marimekko, P&F Appliances, Pendleton, rk MILES, Smugglers' Notch Distillery, Theory, The Mountain Goat, This and That Vintage, TUMI, Vermont Kitchen Supply, and Zippy Chicks, with additional businesses joining the event daily as Sidewalk Sales weekend approaches.

The celebration continues into the evening of Friday, August 7, when the Town of Manchester’s StreetFest brings live music, local vendors, family activities, and even more excitement to downtown. Together, Sidewalk Sales and StreetFest create one of the busiest and most exciting weekends of the summer season.

The Manchester Business Association would also like to congratulate Northshire Bookstore on its 50th Anniversary Celebration, taking place on Saturday, August 8. “Reaching this milestone is a remarkable achievement, and we encourage locals and visitors alike to join in celebrating one of Manchester's most beloved independent businesses during an exciting weekend for our community,” said Kait Zwagerman Tyler, Co-Executive Director of the Manchester Business Association.

Visitors are encouraged to make a weekend of it by booking a stay at one of Manchester's welcoming inns, hotels, or resorts while exploring the best the region has to offer. Dine at exceptional restaurants and cafés, browse museums and galleries, catch a live performance, hike scenic trails, or enjoy countless outdoor adventures. Whether you're searching for designer fashions, one-of-a-kind gifts, handcrafted goods, or simply savoring a leisurely summer stroll through town, Manchester's Sidewalk Sales offer the perfect reason to plan a summer getaway.

Each participating business will feature its own unique promotions throughout the event. The list of participating businesses and special offers is updated regularly, so shoppers are encouraged to visit ManchesterVermont.com/sidewalk-sales before and throughout the weekend to see the latest additions, discover exclusive offers, and plan their shopping route.
