Age Well has announced that Diane Chamberlain has joined the organization as its Director of Nutrition. Chamberlain joined Age Well in June, leading the organization’s Nutrition Support programs and helping ensure older Vermonters have access to resources that promote healthy aging, independence, and connection.
“We are delighted to welcome Diane to the Age Well team,” said Jane Catton, CEO of Age Well. “Her professional expertise, leadership experience, and years of service as a Meals on Wheels volunteer make her a wonderful fit for this role. Diane understands firsthand the importance of nutrition, connection, and compassion in helping older Vermonters thrive, and we are excited for her to lead our Nutrition Services.”
A Commitment to Nutrition and Serving Older Vermonters
Chamberlain brings a diverse background in business, analytics, and community service to her role at Age Well. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Siena College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Suffolk University.
Since 2019, Chamberlain has served as Director of Portfolio Insights at athenahealth, where she developed expertise in strategic planning, data analysis, and organizational performance. In addition to her professional experience, Diane has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to supporting older adults through her volunteer service with Meals on Wheels. Since 2015, she has served as a Meals on Wheels Volunteer Route Coordinator and Driver, providing meals and connection to older Vermonters.
Her experience as a Meals on Wheels volunteer provides a unique connection to Age Well’s mission and the importance of nutrition, compassion, and community.
“I am excited to join Age Well and continue supporting a mission that has such a meaningful impact on the lives of older Vermonters,” said Chamberlain. “More than 15 years ago, I joined Age Well as a Meals on Wheels volunteer coordinator, and witnessing the impact of these programs inspired me to find a way to contribute more. Joining Age Well has given me a meaningful opportunity to continue serving the community and carry on the legacy of compassion and connection that has always been important to me.”
