Vermont Business Magazine To mark its 35th anniversary, Ledyard Bank launched the 35th Anniversary Community Impact Awards, a $35,000 giving initiative honoring its 35 years of service. The results from community voting are in!
Thanks to the support of clients, families, friends, and community members, Ledyard’s 35th Anniversary Community Impact Awards helped raise awareness for six outstanding nonprofits, and the important work they do.
These nonprofits have received the following awards:
- $15,000 Grand Prize: The Hand to Heart Project (Cornish, NH) – Providing free in-home massage and compassionate touch to cancer patients and caregivers.
- $7,500: New England Healing Sports Association (NEHSA) (New London, NH) – Empowering individuals and families through adaptive sports and inclusive community support.
- $5,000: NH Children’s Trust (Concord, NH) – Strengthening families and preventing child abuse through education, advocacy, and collaboration.
- $2,500: Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity – Building safe, affordable housing for families in New Hampshire and Vermont.
- $2,500: Fueled By Kids (Bedford, NH) – Fighting child food insecurity and supporting more than 1,150 students across 21 schools.
- $2,500: Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire – Assisting families experiencing homelessness with housing, resources, and education.
