VermontBiz The Vermont Agency of Transportation will implement overnight ramp closures on Interstate 89 southbound in Montpelier as part of the Montpelier–Waterbury I89 Southbound Resurfacing Project.
Interstate 89 South Exit 8 on- and off-ramps will be closed to all traffic from 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM each night beginning Sunday, July 12, and concluding on the morning of Friday, July 17.
These closures allow crews to upgrade guardrails, remove temporary lane markings, install permanent lane markings, and rehabilitate the drainage structure along the Exit 8 on-ramp.

o Memorial Drive to US-2 East to US-302 East to Berlin State Hwy to VT-62 West to Exit 7 South
- Exit 8 SB Off Ramp
o I-89 SB Exit 7 to VT-62 East to Berlin State Hwy to US-302 West to US-2 West, or;
o I-89 Exit 9 SB to Middlesex State Hwy to US-2 East
