Vermont Business Magazine Breeze Airways and Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport (Leahy BTV) are excited to announce new nonstop service between Leahy BTV and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), launching October 4, 2026. The new route will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays and will continue onward as BreezeThru service to Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB), providing travelers with convenient access to both the Baltimore-Washington region and Florida's Treasure Coast.

This latest addition builds on Breeze Airways' successful launch at Leahy BTV in January 2024. The airline currently offers nonstop service to Charleston (CHS), Orlando (MCO), Raleigh-Durham (RDU), Fort Myers (RSW), and Tampa (TPA), with Baltimore (BWI) and BreezeThru service to Vero Beach (VRB) now joining the lineup. The new route marks the return of scheduled service between Leahy BTV and Baltimore for the first time in decades, while also introducing the airport's first-ever service to Vero Beach
