WHERE: VT-114 at Bridge #38 in Norton
WHAT: Emergency Closure of VT-114 Extended
Vermont Route 114 in Norton at Bridge #38, located south of Lake Station Road, will remain closed until further notice. Due to the heavy rainfall on Thursday, June 18, 2026, bridge #38 was damaged, requiring a temporary bridge to be installed at the site.
The anticipated reopening of Vermont Route 114 is expected within the next two weeks.
Motorists are to detour via VT-114 to VT-102 and VT-105. Road closure signs and message boards are in the process of being installed to warn motorists of the closure.
