Neagley & Chase Construction, one of northern New England's leading commercial construction firms, is pleased to announce that Shelby Castaneda has been hired as Project Engineer. In his new role, Shelby supports several large-scale multi-family housing projects across both field and office operations — gaining hands-on practical experience alongside his core responsibilities in submittal and shop drawing processing, bid package development, and project scheduling. He is a graduate of Norwich University, where he earned a B.S. in Construction Management.
"Shelby brings a great attitude, diligence, and energy to everything he takes on," said Rob Higgins, President of Neagley & Chase Construction. "He's engaged, eager to jump into any task, and that enthusiasm shows up every day on the job."
Outside of his career at Neagley & Chase, Shelby has served as a U.S. Army Combat Engineer in the Vermont National Guard since 2022.
Shelby lives in Colchester.
