Vermont Nuclear Decommissioning Citizens Advisory Panel Feb 23

Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Nuclear Decommissioning Citizens Advisory Panel (VT-NDCAP) will hold its first regular meeting of 2026 on Monday evening February 23, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.  The primary purpose of this meeting will be the Panel’s review and approval of its 2025 Annual Report to the Vermont Legislature and Governor.

Additionally, the Panel will receive brief updates from NorthStar and Vermont State Agencies regarding recent Vermont Yankee (VY) decommissioning activities.  The Panel’s Federal Nuclear Waste Policy Committee will also provide an update on its recent activities.  Further discussion regarding Senator Peter Welch’s proposed Nuclear Plant Decommissioning Act may also occur.
