Walter Frame, chief operating officer and director at von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort in Stowe, has joined the board of directors of Union Bank. At von Trapp Lodge, Frame oversees operations across the resort’s 2,500-acre property, including its hotel, brewery, recreational amenities, homeowner association management and real estate development.
Frame is a graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and holds an MBA in accounting and finance from Boston College's Carroll Graduate School of Management. His board service includes leadership roles with Copley Hospital, Stowe Land Trust, Vermont Business Roundtable, Vermont Chamber of Commerce, Spruce Peak Arts Center Foundation, and the Stowe Area Association. He also served on the state of Vermont Economic Mitigation & Recovery Task Force, established by Gov. Phil Scott to guide the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
