CCTV Center for Media & Democracy has announced the hiring of Matthew Gilson (pictured) as operations and finance director and Aubrey Moyer and MJ Rizzo as field producers.
Gilson, a graduate of the University of Vermont, brings extensive experience in entrepreneurial finance, operations and business management. He previously founded the strategic consulting firm Legitimus Enterprises and co-founded Ski Shoppe Premium Cannabis.
Moyer, a recent UVM graduate, joins the team with a strong interest in community media making. Rizzo, a current student at Champlain College, discovered CCTV during a class visit and brings a passion for broadcast and communications. Community members can expect to see both documenting local events and municipal meetings across the region.
