Tonia Fleming, former director of advancement at Vermont Academy, has joined Springfield Hospital as director of marketing and planning. This position marks a return to Springfield Hospital for Fleming, who previously worked in the development office from 2011 to 2019.
Fleming brings to her new role more than 25 years' experience in marketing and nonprofit management, with a strong track record of organizational branding and advertising, building relationships and increasing philanthropic revenue. At Vermont Academy, she led the school’s development and engagement program, oversaw major giving initiatives and helped guide its strategic direction.
Fleming is a graduate of Wellesley College and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
