Norwich interior designer named to New England Design Hall of Fame

Ann Shriver-Sargent

Interior designer Ann Shriver Sargent, of Norwich, whose work has helped shape the look and feel of New England living for more than three decades, has been named a 2025 inductee into the New England Design Hall of Fame. She will be formally inducted at the annual gala on Nov. 6 at Boston’s SoWa Power Station.

Sargent’s portfolio spans country estates, historic farmhouses and lakeside retreats, each rooted in her belief that a house should not only be beautiful and livable in the moment, but remain meaningful for generations to come. That philosophy is perhaps most evident in her work at Twin Farms, the iconic five-star resort in Barnard, Vermont.

Of Sargent’s longtime involvement with Twin Farms, Managing Director John Graham said: “The range of design styles here is extensive, and Ann’s capacity to fluidly move from one space-extreme to another is remarkable. Her personal taste is lovely. Ann is always appropriate, aware, and in a word for me, timeless.”
