Bianca Roa, accounting manager at Essex Resort & Spa, and Tim Volk, retired partner and president from the New York City advertising agency KSV, have been elected president and vice president, respectively, of the Generator Makerspace Board of Directors.
Roa brings to the board experience in hospitality operations, nonprofit management and financial processes centered around creating positive social impact. Prior to joining Essex Resort, she held positions at the Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center, Ben & Jerry's Waterbury Factory and Hula.
Volk has more than 30 years of consumer marketing and business leadership experience. He currently serves on the boards of the Northern Forest Center and Virtual Peaker, among others and previously served as board member and chair for nonprofits including the Vermont Business Roundtable and the Vermont Community Foundation.
