Paul Sanford, retired executive vice president of operations at the Connecticut-based global health company The Cigna Group, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Vermont Professionals of Color Network, bringing the organization's total board membership to five.
As a key member of Cigna's executive leadership team and trusted adviser to the company's board of directors, Sanford led major transformations, optimizing organizational structure, technology and service delivery as the company grew to $195 billion in revenue, with more than 180 million customers in 30 countries. He is a graduate of Stony Brook University and holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
