Vermont Business Magazine Local Maverick, in partnership with Split Spirits, is thrilled to announce the opening of a new Vermont storefront & tasting room at 96 Depot Street in the heart of Manchester, Vermont. This vibrant new location will serve as a premier destination for both locals and visitors to discover, shop, and celebrate the very best of Vermont.
Located within downtown Manchester—alongside Vermont Flannel/Vermont Teddy Bear and across the street from Simon Pearce and Coco Goose—this Vermont store is more than just a retail space. It’s a curated experience showcasing a dynamic collection of Vermont-made products spanning food and beverage, craft, art, wellness, and more.
At the core of the space is a Split Spirits tasting room, featuring their climate-neutral hand crafted spirits alongside offerings from four additional Vermont-made alcohol brands. These businesses include Barr Hill, Mount Holly Beer, Vermont Vermouth, and Watson Wheeler Cider. Guests will enjoy guided tastings, sip-and-shop events, and the opportunity to explore local flavors in an engaging and social setting.
The store features rotating product vignettes, spotlighting a diverse mix of 20+ Vermont brands, including:
4T2D, AO Glass, Backhome Bakery, Barr Hill, Brio Coffeeworks, Cary & Main Co, The Hildene, Homegrown Jewelry, JK Adams, Mixed Up Nut Butter, Mount Holly Beer, NU Chocolat, Pure Energy Apothecary, Runamok Maple, Shiki Wrap, Sisters of Anarchy, Split Spirits, Tove Wear, Vermont Marshmallow Co, Vermont Vermouth, and Watson Wheeler Cider.
Beyond shopping, the space will host tastings, demos, pop-up dinners, and community-driven events, designed to bring people together and foster collaboration with local artists, makers, and neighboring businesses.
“This is more than a storefront—it’s a hub that uplifts and showcases the incredible people & businesses Vermont has to offer,” says Ryan Nakhleh, founder of Local Maverick. Manchester resident and Split Spirits founder Will Drucker said he is “excited to engage with locals and visitors through activations with partner brands and hosting sip-and-shop events.”
The next sip-and-shop event will be Saturday, July 5. To learn more about hours, events, and the featured businesses, head to www.localmaverickus.com & www.splitspirits.com.
