Business, Birdies, and Building Connections

Vermont Business Magazine Business and nonprofit leaders from across Southern Vermont came together on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, for the 7th annual B2B Golf Classic, hosted by the Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce and the Manchester Business Association (MBA). Held at the scenic Mount Anthony Country Club, the day offered a dynamic blend of golf, networking, and community building — all under blue skies and against the Green Mountain backdrop.

“This event is about more than just a great round of golf,” said Matt Harrington, Executive Director of the Southwestern Vermont Chamber. “It’s a platform for building meaningful connections among business leaders, nonprofits, and professionals who are invested in the future of Southwestern Vermont.”

The tournament kicked off with registration and networking at 11:00 AM, followed by a 12:00 PM shotgun start. The 18-hole scramble format welcomed both seasoned golfers and spirited first-timers, while players enjoyed boxed lunches, gift bags, contests, and a festive 19th Hole Reception.

“We had a fantastic turnout,” added John Burnham, Executive Director of the MBA. “This tournament comes together because of the outstanding support from local sponsors, and a strong sense of regional collaboration from start to finish.”
