Killington Resort announces staff promotions, management additions

Killington Resort, the largest ski and snowboard resort in Eastern North America, has announced the promotions of Robbie Cohen, Rob Frei, Laura Kruse and Josh Reed and the addition of new managers Tracy Kelly and Matt McAlary.

Cohen, a member of the lift operations team for eight years, was promoted from lift operations supervisor to lift operations manager. He has earned a reputation as a thoughtful leader who listens to his team, takes initiative and tackles challenges head-on.

Frei, currently in his second stint at Killington, was elevated from retail manager to retail director. In this expanded capacity, he will ensure that the entire golf course team, front and back of house, have the resources and support needed to continue delivering an outstanding golf experience for guests and staff.

Kruse, who joined the Killington team in December 2023, was promoted from child care supervisor to child care manager. In her new role, she will oversee all aspects of the child care facility's daily operations and lead efforts to enhance Killington's child care services.

Reed, who has been part of the Killington team since 2021, was promoted from ticket and reservation supervisor to communications manager. In this new role, he will manage communications across social media, public relations, internal updates and snow reporting.

Kelly has joined the Grand Hotel lodging team as lodging front office manager. A graduate of Ithaca College, she most recently served as maìtresse de maison (general manager) at The Pitcher Inn and Spa in Warren.

McAlary joins the team as creative services manager, bringing with him seven years of marketing and branding experience across the hospitality and beverage alcohol industries. A graduate of the University of Vermont, he formerly served as brand manager at SABÉ Beverages in Manhasset, New York.
