Andrew Britt, former producer at Sharp Entertainment in New York City, has been named executive director of the Lyric Theatre Co. He brings to the Lyric a wide-ranging and distinguished career in the performing arts, with experience spanning Broadway, Off-Broadway, national tours, regional theater and television.
Britt is a theater graduate of East Carolina University and has worked with celebrated directors and creative teams on productions such as "Bright Star," "The Present," "Waiting for Godot" and "The Bandwagon." His television production credits include popular programming for HGTV and WeTV, where he developed skills in planning, logistics and team leadership.
"Lyric Theatre Company is a true gem, renowned for its high-quality productions and the supportive, passionate and talented individuals who bring them to life," Britt said. "Iʼm here to champion the members and ensure they have the resources to continue creating exceptional live theater for our Burlington audiences."
