“It is my great honor and pleasure to be a part of today’s ceremony to celebrate the opening of our newest office in Vermont,” said Regional President Dan Werme. “Our team, with a combined 34 years of banking experience and deep community roots, is ready to help our neighbors achieve their financial goals.”

In addition to meeting space to connect with NBT financial experts, this new full-service office features a drive-through, 24-hour ATM and night drop services. Other local NBT offices are located in Burlington, Williston and Essex.

“For over 15 years, we’ve proudly served Chittenden County, expanding our footprint and deepening our community ties,” said NBT Bank President Joe Stagliano. “We view this as an investment in our future and a commitment to not only our employees and customers, but also the community.”

NBT officials also presented a donation to the South Burlington Food Shelf, located nearby at 356 Dorset Street. The food shelf provides food assistance to South Burlington residents who struggle with hunger.

“We are deeply grateful to NBT bank for their generous donation" said Peter (Pedro) Carmolli of the South Burlington Food Shelf. “We have seen a 30% increase in need from last year to this year. Every dollar we receive helps us provide essential groceries, nutritious meals and a measure of stability for families facing food insecurity.”
