Vermont Business Magazine Black Flannel Brewing & Distilling Company announces a new brewers’ festival taking place on June 7, 2025. LAGERFEST brings together 23 of the top New England breweries focusing 100% on Lager style beers.
With so much love given to IPAs, it’s time that Lagers take their rightful place in the spotlight. When many people think of Lagers, fizzy yellow beer comes to mind, but Lager styles are as diverse as beer itself - they come in a wide range of colors, strengths, and flavors.
LAGERFEST will be held on the Green at the Essex Experience, in front of Black Flannel Brewing & Distilling. The tagline for the event is Peace, Love & Lager. There will be one session, from 4 to 8pm. Ages 21+, no pets.
4 hours of live music will be provided by the Seth Yacovone Band. Food options for purchase provided by Black Flannel Brewing Company. NA options will be available for designated drivers.
Participating breweries include: Ayinger (GERMANY), Black Flannel Brewing (VT), Counter Weight Brewing (CT), Dead Language Beer Project (CT), Drop In Brewing (VT), Foam Brewers (VT), Fox Farm (CT), Hill Farmstead (VT), IdleTyme (VT), Lawson’s Finest (VT), Lucy & Howe (VT), Oxbow (ME), Queen City Brewing (VT), River Roost (VT), Schilling (NH), Stone Corral (VT), The Brewery at American Flatbread (VT), Tributary (NH), VonTrapp Brewing (VT), Weihenstephan (GERMANY), Weird Window (VT), Zero Gravity (VT), and 14th Star (VT).
Tickets are $30 ($36 day of event) and include entry into the event, live music, a commemorative 13.5 ounce tasting glass and 5 tasting tickets. Each ticket allows ticket holders to sample 4oz of lager from any of the 23 participating breweries. Once on site, ticket holders can opt to purchase up to 10 more tasting tickets. The commemorative glass can hold 4, 8, and 12 ounce pours.
