Common Good Vermont supports nonprofits navigating impacts of federal actions

Vermont Business Magazine Common Good Vermont has created and is continually updating a webpage, Federal Actions Impacting Nonprofits: Resources & Updates, to help nonprofits navigate and respond to federal actions affecting Vermonters.

“Trump Administration actions have generated a great deal of uncertainty for nonprofits around funding, staffing, and their ability to carry out their missions. Many organizations are already feeling the impact on their organizations and the communities they serve,” says Common Good Vermont Director Martin Hahn.

Common Good Vermont, the only statewide program dedicated to uniting, strengthening, and advocating for Vermont’s nonprofit sector, is providing resources and guidance during this uncertain time, including information on executive orders, the federal funding pause, upcoming events, immigration actions, and more.

On May 5th, Common Good Vermont will convene nonprofit and philanthropic leaders for a statewide call to organize our response to federal actions.

Organizations, particularly those with federal grants or contracts and those working on specific issues or in a sub-sector targeted by executive orders, are encouraged to engage with Common Good Vermont and collaborative efforts to mitigate risk. To share your organization’s story, find resources and updates, and to register for our upcoming statewide call “Nonprofits & Philanthropy: Responding to Federal Actions,” visit commongoodvt.org
