Northfield Savings Bank has announced the hiring of Colin Branon and Dijana Downing as vice presidents of commercial banking, and Kate Whitney as vice president of government banking.
Branon, based at the bank’s Taft Corners office in Williston, brings over 20 years of banking expertise to his new role. He is responsible for cultivating new commercial deposit and lending relationships in Chittenden County, as well as managing and nurturing his existing portfolio.
“Since joining the team in October, Colin has made an immediate impact building strong relationships with clients and sourcing new opportunities,” said Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking David Seaver. “His well-rounded experience within commercial lending is a great asset to both our company and businesses within the community.”
Downing, also based at Northfield's Taft Corners office, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role, where she will build and maintain commercial deposit and lending relationships in Chittenden County and central Vermont. Her career spans a variety of leadership roles with a focus on building and nurturing relationships, making her a trusted resource for Vermont businesses.

Whitney, based out of the Williston Road office in South Burlington, has 17 years of experience in financial services, including 10 years specializing in government banking, In her new role, she focuses on establishing, developing and managing relationships with municipal entities of all sizes, with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.
