Kristin Carlson, vice president of strategic and external affairs at Green Mountain Power, has joined the Central Vermont Medical Center Board of Trustees.
Carlson also serves as board chair at the ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain and is the vice chair of the Vermont Community Foundation Board. Prior to joining Green Mountain Power, she was senior political reporter and anchor at WCAX-TV, where she won multiple journalism awards for her investigative work, including the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award.
“We are pleased to have Kristin Carlson join the CVMC board because we know she brings an incredible commitment to our staff, providers and patients to the role,” said board chair Joyce Judy. “She has a deep understanding of the needs of our community and will help to provide a statewide perspective as well.”
