Vermont gas prices flatten to $3.09 average

Vermont Business Magazine Average gasoline prices in Vermont are $3.09 per gallon, down 1 cents/g from last week, down 3 cents from last month and down 19 cents/g from this time last year. The lowest price in the state this week was $2.60/g while the highest was $3.35/g, a difference of 75.0 cents per gallon. The lowest prices in the state are in Bennington County with prices rising going north, with Orleans County average highest.

Average gasoline prices in Burlington are unchanged in the last week, averaging $3.17/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 100 stations in Burlington. Prices in Burlington are 3.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 15.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Burlington was priced at $3.00/g yesterday while the most expensive was $3.29/g, a difference of 29.0 cents per gallon. 

The national average price of gasoline is up 1 cent per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.03/g today. The national average is up 1 cent per gallon from a month ago and stands 5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.

The national average price of diesel has decreased 0.5 cents in the last week and stands at $3.473 per gallon.
