Vermont Technology Alliance names new executive director

Adam Locklin

Adam Locklin, a champion of Vermont's technology sector for two decades, has been appointed as the new executive director of the Vermont Technology Alliance. He will take the reins from Jeff Couture, who is stepping down in January.

Locklin has worked with some of the world’s largest financial institutions, including JP Morgan Chase and Nasdaq; launched technology initiatives at PwC; advanced open-source software solutions; and supported startups in creating transformative technologies. In 2021, he founded SBS Today, a consulting firm that assists businesses in implementing strategies for enhanced environmental, social and financial responsibility.

Locklin is a graduate of Park University in Parkland, Missouri, and holds a sustainable innovation MBA from the Gross School Business at the University of Vermont.
