Former British diplomat Katherine Dixon has been named CEO of the Regulatory Assistance Project, a Montpelier-based nonprofit organization that advises governments on energy regulation, electricity markets and climate policy. She replaces interim CEO and RAP co-founder David Moskovitz, effective Jan. 1.
Dixon brings more than 20 years' experience across a range of public, private and nonprofit roles. She currently serves as head of Bain Consulting’s Global Energy Transition Policy Centre, based in Paris.
“We sought a visionary leader to guide RAP’s next phase of growth and impact, which we found in Katherine Dixon," said Amanda Ormond, chair of RAP’s board of directors. "She brings knowledge of and passion for the work we do worldwide every day.”
Dixon is a graduate of the University of Cambridge in the UK and holds master's degrees in Chinese studies from SOAS University of London and in finance from London Business School.
