Tom Borys, chief financial officer at OneCare Vermont, will assume the additional duties of interim CEO of the organization. He will replace CEO Abe Berman, who will be stepping down in mid-December to join TapestryHealth.
Borys has been a leader within the OneCare finance department since 2017. Before joining OneCare, he spent 12 years serving in various financial capacities at the Howard Center. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds an MBA from Champlain College.
The OneCare Board of Managers also announced the election of Dr. Jennifer Gilwee to the position of board chair. Gilwee has served on the board since 2021 and currently chairs the Population Health Strategy Committee.
