Keith Jennings, former lead hydrologist at Lynker, a water science and engineering company based in Boulder, Colorado, has been named director of research at the University of Vermont's Water Resources Institute.
In his new role, Jennings will contribute to growing and sustaining the institute’s research enterprise through the development of new initiatives, leadership of complex multi-investigator research projects, overseeing research teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality research products. His goal is to not only advance basic understanding of water resources, but to deliver actionable information to the communities that need it.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Jennings to UVM as we embark upon this ambitious program of growing UVM’s research portfolio, reputation and impact in water resources,” said Beverley Wemple, faculty director of the WRI.
Jennings is a graduate of UVM and holds a master's in water resources science form Oregon State University and a doctorate in geography from the University of Colorado Boulder.
