Lt. Gov.-elect John Rodgers has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Brown, former senior vice president and head of strategy at TIAA Bank, as his chief of staff.
Brown, of Waterbury, served as chief of public engagement for Rodgers' successful campaign against incumbent Lt. Gov. David Zuckerman. She is a member of the Harwood Unified Union School District school board and a former candidate for the Vermont House of Representatives.
“Elizabeth has demonstrated a strong commitment of service to Vermont and Vermonters.” Rodgers said. “A gifted team leader and trusted administrator, she brings valuable experience from the private sector to her new role, and I’m grateful for her willingness to serve Vermonters alongside me.”
