Vermont Business Magazine VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR) has announced that, for a limited time, its Thrift Shop in Manchester will be open on select Saturdays in November and December. Traditionally open Monday through Friday, the Thrift Shop will extend its hours to include Saturdays from 10AM to 2PM on the following dates:
· Saturday, November 16
· Saturday, December 21
This special Saturday opening gives local shoppers the opportunity to browse the shop’s wide selection of high-quality, gently used merchandise, all in support of VNAHSR’s mission to provide compassionate home health and hospice services to the community.
A Treasure Trove for Bargain Seekers
The VNAHSR Thrift Shop, located at 5468 Main Street Manchester Center, VT, is a beloved resource for treasure hunters and bargain shoppers. It is stocked with a variety of donated items—including clothing, home goods, books and more. The proceeds from every sale benefit VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region, directly supporting its vital services for residents of Bennington, Franklin and Rutland Counties.
Gina Grove, Annual Fund and Development Manager, said, “We’re grateful to the community for their generous contributions and for shopping with us year after year – it is due to this support that we are able to open the shop for additional hours. The VNAHSR Thrift Shop is a ripple effect of positivity, where every purchase, donation and hour of volunteer work directly contributes to caring for our neighbors, providing quality home healthcare services.”
Please Note: Donations Not Accepted on Saturdays
While the shop will be open on Saturdays, please note that the Thrift Shop will not be accepting donations during these hours. Donations can still be made during regular Monday–Friday hours from 11AM to 3PM.
