Vermont Business Magazine The much-anticipated 14th Annual Manchester Holiday Lighted Tractor Parade is set to take place on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, at 5:30 PM in the heart of Manchester, Vermont. Coordinated by Dead River Company, Manchester Business Association, and the Town of Manchester, this beloved holiday tradition features dazzling displays of lights, festive floats, and holiday cheer, as tractors and their decorated trailers parade through the streets.
The parade, a highlight of the local holiday season, has become a cherished event for families, visitors, and residents alike. This year’s parade promises to be bigger and brighter than ever, with more than 30 decorated tractors and floats expected to participate.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate the 14th year of this fantastic event and to see it continue to grow,” said John Burnham, Executive Director of the Manchester Business Association. “The parade reflects the community spirit and joy that defines Manchester, and we look forward to welcoming hundreds of parade-goers from near and far!”
The parade will begin at 5:30 PM and spectators are encouraged to line the streets early to get the best views. Along with the incredible light displays, there will be a special appearance by Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, much to the excitement of children and families. To add to the excitement, Dead River Company will once again be awarding three $300 cash prizes for the best entries in the following categories: Best Use of Lights, Best Float, and Best Nonprofit Entry.
