AOT accepting grant applications for 2025 Transportation Alternatives Program

Municipal Highway and Stormwater Mitigation Program

Vermont Business Magazine This year, more than $4.3 million in grant funding is available through the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) for all eligible activities as described in the Vermont Transportation Alternatives Fall 2024 Application Guide via the link below. Approximately 50% of TAP grant program funds are reserved for pollution mitigation projects related to stormwater and highways, including eligible salt and sand shed projects. 

Also, approximately $1.5 million in grant funding is available through the Municipal Highway and Stormwater Mitigation Program (MHSMP) for eligible stormwater pollution mitigation projects as described in the Municipal Highway and Stormwater Mitigation Program Guide via the link below.
