Brattleboro Savings & Loan’s Tom Martyn honored by bankers association

Tom Martyn, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Brattleboro Savings & Loan, has been named 2024 Vermont Outstanding Community Service Banker of the Year by the Vermont Bankers Association.

The award recognizes leaders who exemplify the best of community banking through an exceptional commitment to the communities that their bank serves. Martyn has long history of volunteering and service on boards of local organizations, such as the Retreat Farm and Landmark Trust USA.

“This award not only recognizes Tom’s contributions, but also reflects the broader mission of Brattleboro Savings & Loan, which remains focused on community support and development toward a shared prosperity,” said BS&L President Deb Stephenson. “The bank celebrates this recognition as another example of its ongoing commitment to making a positive difference locally.”
