VIP Tires & Service, northern New England’s largest privately held automotive service provider and tire dealer, has promoted Stephen White to district manager, overseeing all five of the company's Vermont locations as well as its West Lebanon, New Hampshire, store.
In his new role, White will support the teams at those six locations, identify areas of improvement, and work with individual leaders to help them become the best automotive professionals and leaders they can be.
White joined VIP in 2010 as a part-time parts associate, working his way up to second assistant store manager, service writer, assistant service manager and service manager before his most recent role as market manager. He has earned five Automotive Service Excellence certifications and completed several training sessions.
“It is amazing to see how far Stephen has come since starting at VIP, working hard to grow as a leader and learn every step of the way,” said President and CEO Tim Winkeler. “Stephen has proven his leadership skills in each of the stores he has overseen.”
