Hannah Baxter, former food access manager at the Intervale Center in Burlington, has been appointed Farm to Plate Network manager at the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund, a nonprofit organization focused on economic prosperity, ecological health and social connectivity of people, businesses, organizations and communities in Vermont.
In her new role, Baxter is responsible for providing facilitative leadership and project management to the Farm to Plate Network’s priority strategy teams, communities of practice and topic exchanges.
At the Intervale Center, Baxter was responsible for managing gleaning programs, year-round free food distributions and emerging issues related to food security.
Baxter is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where she earned a degree in environmental studies.
