Downs Rachlin Martin welcomes new attorney to business law group

Attorney Conor McKenzie, former vice president of taxation at Casella Waste Systems, has joined the business law group of Downs Rachlin Martin. He will be based at the firm's Burlington office.

McKenzie has significant experience advising clients on state income and franchise taxes, and indirect taxes specifically related to nexus, apportionment, ruling requests, controversy and risk mitigation, tax legislative advisories, and tax operations and compliance. He also provides sophisticated tax planning advice on taxability, structuring, acquisitions and divestitures.

McKenzie is a graduate of Union College and holds a Master of Laws in taxation from Boston University School of Law and a law degree from University of Connecticut School of Law.
