L’Tonya Johnson, former social worker in the intensive care nursery at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, has been appointed director of shelter and community services at Upper Valley Haven.
In her new role, Johnson will will lead four of the five service areas at Haven that provide shelter, community outreach, supportive housing case management and children’s services.
“We are thrilled that L’Tonya has joined the Haven team in this important leadership position,” said Executive Director Michael Redmond. “Her extensive experience and skills, plus her commitment to supporting those most at risk, make her an ideal fit for the Haven and our person-centered and strength-based values.”
Upper Valley Haven supports people who are housing or food insecure through its temporary shelters, supportive housing, children’s programs and community outreach support.
