VBM honors Vermont's Rising Stars 2019

Vermont Business Magazine was proud to honor the winners of its Rising Stars Class of 2019 at the Delta Hotel in South Burlington Thursday evening, November 7th. Honored were 40 winners under the age of 40. Award recipients were selected by a panel of judges for their commitment to business growth, professional excellence and involvement in their communities. Governor Phil Scott was there to present the awards.

In honor of the 10th year of the Rising Stars Awards, Vermont Business Magazine will recognize one alumni from previous years to be awarded Alumni of the Year each year moving forward. This year they have named Nicole Ravlin, Class of 2010 and owner of Junapr, a communications and public relations company located in Shelburne, Vermont. For more than two decades, Ravlin has worked in communications and public relations and this past summer opened her new company, Junapr. Nicole is very active in her community serving on the executive level on the Board of Directors for Vermont Public Radio and working with several local organizations.

 

The honorees also are featured in the November issue of Vermont Business Magazine.

FAST FACTS: Of the 40 honorees, there are 15 men and 25 women. There are 15 from Chittenden County, 8 from Windham County, 7 from Rutland County, 3 from Bennington County, 2 from Caledonia County, 1 from Washington County, 1 from Lamoille County, 1 from Franklin County, 1 from Addison County, and 1 from Orange County.  The average age of the honorees is 33 years old. The oldest is 39 and the youngest is 25 years old.
