Vermont Business Magazine The Energy Co-op of Vermont, a not-for-profit cooperative that serves over 2,700 members and customers in northwest and central Vermont, elected four new board members for three year terms at their annual meeting held at Efficiency Vermont headquarters in Burlington on October 22nd.
· Sarah Wolfe is the Communications Specialist at VEIC and formerly served as Energy Action Network as the Network Director. She managed the Annual Progress Report and Network events to expand our collective impact on clean energy action and emissions reduction in Vermont.
· Deanna Paluba is currently the Director of Human Resources for the City of Burlington and has held HR leadership roles at IBM and Gilead Sciences. Deanna has expertise in employee relations, policy development and developing employee engagement initiatives.
· Catherine Dimitruk is the Executive Director of the Northwest Regional Planning Commission where she coordinates regional approaches to land use, emergency preparedness, environmental conservation, transportation networks, economic development and energy.
· Michelle Hobbs has spent over 20 years working in corporate and product branding, marketing and graphic design. She recently led an in-house creative group at VEIC and is currently working within the ICF Spark Labs facilitation team.
Also re-elected to the board was Cheryl Fatnassi, President and CEO of the Opportunities Credit Union, a community development credit union serving a low income membership.
Co-op members and staff in attendance heard a presentation by Jared Duval, Executive Director, Energy Action Network who provided an overview of Vermont’s 90% Renewable Goals.

Energy Co-op of Vermont is a member-owned, not-for-profit fuel services and energy efficiency cooperative located in Colchester, Vermont. The Co-op opened for business in 2001 and serves over 2,700 members and customers in Northwestern and Central Vermont with deliveries of heating oil, kerosene and premium wood pellets. The Co-op also offers energy audits, weatherization services and maintenance, repair and installation of high-efficiency heating equipment such as furnaces, boilers and heat pumps.
