Governor Scott to visit Essex County for 11th Capitol For A Day tour

Vermont Business Magazine Governor Phil Scott and members of his Cabinet will be in Essex County on Tuesday, January 29 for their eleventh Capitol for a Day visit. The initiative has brought the Governor and members of his Cabinet and Extended Cabinet to Rutland, Caledonia, Windsor, Franklin, Bennington, Addison, Chittenden, Orleans, Windham and Lamoille counties over the last several months.

“While we see similar challenges across the state – including the need for more working families – each county also has unique struggles and opportunities,” said Governor Scott. “Understanding the needs of each community is critical, which is why these visits have been so valuable.”

Capitol for a Day gives local constituents, municipal governments and other partners the opportunity to connect directly with State leadership and staff. The Administration will visit each of the state’s 14 counties as part of this initiative.
