Veteran human resources professionals Dan Lyons and Susan Loynd have joined the total rewards team at The Richards Group, an independent insurance, employee-benefits and financial-services firm based in Brattleboro. Lyons will serve as managing director of human resources services, and Loynd will serve as strategic human resources business adviser.

Prior to joining The Richards Group, Lyons owned and operated a human resources consulting practice in South Burlington. He is a graduate of Texas State University and is a certified senior professional in human resources.
Loynd most recently served as president of HR Talks in Waitsfield. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds a master's degree in literature from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England.
