Age Well, the leading experts and advocates for the aging population of northwestern Vermont, has received the Distinguished Alumni Service Award from Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California, in recognition of its philanthropic and volunteer service to the university and to society.
Additionally, Age Well's director of resource navigation, Jeffrey Mbarushimana, was named recipient of the Claremont Distinguished Alumni Award for 2024. Mbarushimana, who is pursuing a Doctor of Public Health at Claremont, has been sharing news and information with his advisers and professors at the university about the work Age Well does.
“This is such a fantastic connection as we think about how our workforce pipeline may be made stronger through these affiliations,” said Age Well CEO Jane Catton.
“This week has been incredibly joyous for me to see the impact Age Well’s work has had on my school,” Mbarushimana added.
