Vermont Retail & Grocers Association announces leadership transition

Erin Sigrist

Erin Sigrist, president of the Vermont Retail & Grocers Association, has announced her intention to step down Oct. 1 after seven years with the organization. To ensure a smooth transition, the association has announced that Ed Fox, former CEO at Butternut Mountain Farm in Morrisville, will succeed Sigrist as president.

During her tenure, Sigrist has guided the retail industry through the COVID-19 pandemic, advocated successfully on various issues within the State House, modernized VRGA office operations, increased fundraising and streamlined communications. Her leadership has been instrumental in representing the interests of Vermont’s retail and grocery sectors.

"We want to sincerely thank Erin for her dedicated contributions and leadership during a very difficult time for all of us," said Todd Keyworth, chairman of the board of directors. "We wish her the very best in her new endeavor and look forward to working closely with her to advance our common goals moving forward."
