Vermont Business Magazine Smugglers’ Notch Distillery will mark the official grand opening of its newest Tasting Room and Retail Shop at the Taft Corners Shopping Center in Williston, Vt. on Tuesday, July 2nd in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m.
Co-founder Jeremy Elliott will be joined by the State of Vermont’s Secretary of the Agency of Commerce and Community Development, Lindsay Kurrle; Commissioner of Economic Development, Joan Goldstein; and Deputy Commissioner of the Dept of Liquor Control, Andrew Collier, with other state and local officials and dignitaries, Williston retail business and restaurant owners, and community members.
The afternoon festivities begin at 1 p.m. and will kick off the 4th of July holiday and official start to summer.

Get in the Spirit of Summer Sweepstakes - Smugglers’ Notch Distillery has partnered with Vermont State Parks in celebration of their 100th anniversary, marking the occasion with a Get in the Spirit of Summer Sweepstakes to award a Vermont State Parks 10-punch access pass and an 8-pack of Smugglers’ Notch Distillery’s award-winning canned Vodka Cocktails in a no-purchase-to-win contest with the drawing to be held on Tuesday at the grand opening celebration. Participants must be 21 years of age and may enter the drawing in person at the Williston tasting room and retail store from now until July 2nd.
The grand opening festivities also feature prize drawings and promotions, including gift cards from Williston businesses, Smugglers’ Notch Distillery hot sauces and maple syrup gift packages, and the SND Ultimate Liquor Cabinet grand prize. Vermont veterans will be recognized together with ‘guest’ appearances by other Williston community leaders at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new tasting room and retail store is located at 6 Taft Corners Shopping Center and is open daily from 11:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m
