Keller Williams Vermont, the largest residential real estate brokerage in the state, has announced the promotion of co-founder and CEO Brian Armstrong to operating principal. He succeeds his business partner and co-founder, Adam Hergenrother, who is stepping down after 15 years at the helm.
“This natural transition allows Brian to stay focused on what he loves most: helping agents and expanding our company,” Hergenrother said.
Armstrong's former position will be filled by Mike Hickey (pictured), who has served as KW's director of productivity since December 2021. His contributions to the field have earned him numerous accolades, including serving as past president of the Vermont Association of Realtors and being named 2020 Realtor of the Year by the Lamoille Area Board of Realtors.
“I am hard-pressed to think of a better person to pass the torch to,” Armstrong said. “I look forward to assisting Mike in this role and to the value he will to our clients, team members and industry.”
