The Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium in St. Johnsbury has hired Megan Duncan as its first female meteorologist and newest contributor to its "Eye on the Sky" program that airs seven days a week on Vermont Public. She will succeed Steve Maleski, who is retiring this summer.
“We're delighted to welcome Megan to the Vermont Public airwaves, and congratulate Steve on the excellent service he's provided to Vermonters for more than 40 years,” said Karen Anderson, director of radio programming. “We’re so grateful for our long-standing partnership with the Fairbanks Museum and looking forward to this next chapter.”
Duncan holds a bachelor's degree from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire and studied hydrology and water resources science at Oregon State University. Last year, she worked as an intern at the Bonneville Power Administration utility in Portland, Oregon.
